1. Take off your shoes at the door

I told you these would be simple! Shoes track in toxin-filled dust, dirt, and debris that can bring toxins into your home, polluting the air you breathe. By removing your shoes at the door, you’ll keep the toxins out of your home and ensure you are breathing clean and toxin free air!

2. Choose organic

Choosing organic where you can, can make a big impact on your overall toxic load. Choose organic produce when possible and eat seasonally to ensure you’re getting the highest quality nutrients – and often at the best price!

3. Start the day with water

Create a healthy habit of drinking one glass of water first thing in the morning before drinking coffee or tea. This will fuel your body, help it to flush out toxins, and give you an early start to your daily water goal.

4. Open your windows

Let the toxins out and the fresh air in, by opening up your windows. Let fresh air flow and move throughout your house to prevent any toxins in the air from lingering in your home.

5. Avoid plastic

Plastic contains toxins that have the potential to absorb into your food. Choose to purchase food that doesn’t come in plastic containers, avoid plastic produce bags, and opt for glass or stainless steel containers instead. Doing so can have a positive impact on your health and the environment!
